1. Agreement
By using Contox, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Service description
Contox is a contextual memory platform for AI-powered IDEs. It stores and retrieves structured project context via IDE extensions (VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf), MCP integrations, and a CLI.
3. Account & access
- •You must be 18+ or have parental consent
- •You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure
- •One account per user (seat-based licensing for teams)
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- •Use Contox for illegal purposes
- •Abuse the API or attempt to bypass limits
- •Reverse-engineer the plugin or service
5. Payment & billing
- •Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe
- •Prices are per seat (see Pricing page)
- •You can cancel anytime; no refunds for partial months
6. Data & backups
- •You own your memory data
- •We make reasonable efforts to back up data, but you should export critical information
- •We are not liable for data loss due to bugs, outages, or third-party issues
7. Termination
- •You can delete your account at any time
- •We may suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- •Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
8. Warranty disclaimer
Contox is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any specific purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maxence Foulon (Contox) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Le Mans, France.
